I wanted to take a moment to send you a letter of appreciation for the very professional manner in which you handled the sale of my home in Santa Monica.
I have been in commercial real estate brokerage for 25 years, but I have always held residential brokers with a certain amount of disdain, since every time I have retained one to sell a home of mine it seemed like the agent simply placed the property in the MLS and waited to see if any calls might come in, with little marketing effort other than that.
It was very refreshing and impressive to say the least to have the two of you work so hard at every step, to insure that the sale of my property was successfully concluded. The fact that you personally held every open house, attended every showing, diligently prepared offers in a timely fashion, closely monitored the inspection process and coordinated matters with escrow really made a tremendous difference in the sales process. I just closed escrow on a transaction where I represented the Buyer and Art & Kristina Korvel represented the Seller. I am writing this letter to commend the excellent work of Art Korvel (my dealings were primarily with Art). It was an extremely difficult transaction and Art "kept his cool" and worked through endless problems in a totally professional and efficient manner.
